FRAMESHIFT (Graphic Novel & TV Pilot)

SYNOPSIS

History is no accident. For centuries, our progress has been governed by secret organizations like The Legacy Group. Every leap forward we have ever made is due to this evolving alliance of political, religious, economic, artistic and military giants who have covertly devised world events throughout the ages. So is every leap in genetic evolution. Eric Bosch is the next leap, a frameshift mutation that needs to be studied or destroyed before it changes the world those alliances so want to control. Frameshift is about power and progress, evolution and status quo, fate and faith. An exciting new approach to the noir fiction.

STATUS - High Treason Comics released First Issue in 2011, with Graphic Novel coming out in 2013 and television pilot to shoot in early 2014

LIQUIDATORS

SYNOPSIS

Near the end of the Cold War, the Soviet government began to hide enormous portions of national treasure at secure locations across their territory. One of those sites was beneath their immense Chernobyl nuclear reactor where fifty tons of gold bullion - worth over two billion dollars today - were stashed deep within its subterranean maze. However, in what still remains as the most catastrophic radioactive meltdown in history, Chernobyl exploded in 1986 and the gold has been trapped ever since. In 2011, a rowdy American salvage crew called Orpheum is hired by the Russian military to extract the Chernobyl gold. As they drill down toward the treasure, our feisty demolitions experts suddenly begin to get picked off one after another by a mysterious hoard of terrifying creatures. Demanding an explanation from the Russians, Orpheum is reluctantly informed that these creatures are in fact the mutated remnants of a particular, highly-skilled squad of liquidators - called Unit 17 - who were tasked back in the day to protect the Russian gold. The Americans immediately launch a heroic operation to rescue their surviving mates.

The Year: 2016. American military presence in the Middle East has not decreased as expected; in fact, it has spread as far as Africa and Southeast Asia. We meet Juan, a smart, educated illegal immigrant from El Salvador. He came to Los Angeles for a better life. All he got was cleaning dishes during the day and working for a bookie at night. One morning, Juan senses he's being followed. It's his greatest fear: La Migra, the Immigration Service. He tries to hide, but he's outnumbered. They get him! To his surprise, however, he's offered citizenship. He quickly signs the paperwork, happily takes the Oath of Allegiance, and is immediately put on a plane. Twenty hours later he lands in a US military base. In Pakistan. Leading a varied group of misfits, Juan plans to escape the base and flee the region, fighting local insurgents, the own US Army, and tremendous cultural and language barriers to get home, beautiful and perfect El Salvador. ALLEGIANCE is a sharp, funny look at how things will be in a few years from now...
